Heidi before....

Me and Jessica!!

Heidi after... :-)

We are now entering our second week of performances, which means we only have three more shows left. It's going to be weird to not see these people every day anymore.
:-( Anyway.....here are some more pictures of what the Cracker clan has been up to.

Please Pray...

Debra and Norman sitting by a campfire

Our dear friends, the Goehrings (seen above - Norman and Debra, and their girls Ariel, 15, and Caitlin, 12) are having to walk one of the most difficult roads and all of us who love them are suffering with them and asking God for mercy and wisdom. Norman was diagnosed with Lou Goehrigs disease (ALS) in January and since then the disease has progressed rapidly. He's scheduled for a tracheotomy tomorrow (Mon. July 23) at 1 pm, following an incident last Thurs. that caused him to be intubated (following the insertion of a feeding device in his stomach, his heart and respiration stopped... he now has a breathing tube which the doctors say should be removed by Tues, necessitating a tracheotomy if he is to live any longer).

It's very difficult to watch people suffer - and we ask anyone who reads this to implore God on these dear friends' behalf. They need "peace that passes understanding". We only know of one source for that... so go there boldly with us. You can imagine the many needs and burdens of the four in this family. Please pray that their faith in God would hold firm... what a challenge for anyone, and especially for 2 young girls, 15 and 12.

Thank you for your prayers.
Lori

SOM pics

Oh yes! We forgot to mention that Mom has broken her toe and has lots of fun putting on character shoes now.

Our first dress rehearsal

We are actually entering opening week for SOM! It's kinda hard to believe, and it's a little scary, but we are all very excited and looking forward to the performances.
These Pictures are from last night, our very first dress rehearsal. We didn't get out of the theater until somewhere around midnight!!! Us nuns got to experience for the first time the incredibly hot and heavy costumes that we will get to wear for the next two weeks, Jenny is getting into the swing of 20 sec. costume changes, and Dad finally looks like a real, live nazi. Hope to see you at the show!

Fourth of July belly-flops

One of those bold belly flop moments for the record! Wear that reddened chest as a badge of honor, Connor!

At Rod and Kim Lichti's home we enjoyed a day of sitting around talking, eating, swimming (the guys and their belly flop contests!), volleyball, and even some rugby (Tim and the teenaged guys -- he dared to play with the young bucks and had a great time! They said, "We kept thinking, 'We can't hit him - he's the pastor' til HE hit US!).

What a night!

Yes, Sally's party was a great success. Lots of lovely dancing, dresses, and beautiful lights.
More pictures will be posted soon after I get them cropped.
Sally, you are such a blessing to us. We love you very much.
