A Girly Night : )

I just love it when a brainstorm comes true and it doesn't even take wishing on a star. A moment where you say, "Hey, wouldn't it be fun if we..." and it becomes, "Hey, remember that time we...wasn't that great!" This was the case when us girls and our moms were out to coffee following the yearly spring choir concert. We were chatting, reminiscing, and simply sipping our lattes, us gals at one table and our significant (m)others at another :-p, and realized it had been far too long since we had had a "girly night" and it was high time to plan one. And lo and behold it worked! The next evening we all took a trip to the Wishon Studio to watch Samantha perform for the last time before she goes to Mississippi (SO excited for her!!). After a breathtaking performance in which Sam shone as she danced/worshiped to In Christ Alone, we decided to finish the already delightful evening with a late dinner (or should we say midnight snack :)), all gathered around one big booth, to soak in the last minutes of our spontaneous girly night.

We're a crazy bunch, I know. But we love each other :)
Catching up and hearing bits and pieces about Jenna's time at Capernwray in England and her trip to Israel

The End :)

Robynn wants us to eat healthy food :-)

This is a grilled Louisiana Hot Link.

I just betcha it doesn't fall into the category "healthy food." That's too bad, cuz Connor and Tim really enjoyed theirs out at Jason and Marie's the other night! HOWEVER, before falling into deep dark depression and excessive misery, let us be heartened by the fact that Robynn would like to send us to Chipotle's, and I think she IS calling THAT good food. Or real food. Or something like that. AND she wants us to eat bread (I LOVE bread, but it seems everyone else these days wants us to put on the full armor of God and fight against our secret desire for it). So, go visit Robynn at http://www.robynnsravings.blogspot.com/ and enter her contest for FREE BREAD and FREE CHIPOTLES and a FREE DVD about "real food." (I think they'll probably tell us that there aren't any real pigs with real hot links wandering around Louisiana waiting to be chopped up and sent to Whole Foods or your local farmer's market. Oh, well. Our grill's about shot anyhow.)
